What it costs, and how you start.

Start with a free 20-minute review, then a short Cash Release Sprint that clears what's already built up and fixes the settings that caused it. The Weekly Planning Desk then runs the planning every week.

If you're carrying A$750k to A$10m of stock, the expensive part isn't the fee. It's the lines that stopped selling two years ago, the fast mover that ran out because its reorder point was set for last year, and the write-down at stocktake. For comparison, the average demand planner in Australia earns about $96,000 a year (Glassdoor), roughly A$8,000 to A$9,000 a month once super, leave and payroll tax are added. The point isn't a cheaper planner. It's a planning function you don't currently have, run every week, without replacing anyone.

If the Sprint finds less than A$100,000 of excess stock, you pay nothing.

  • Excess stock is stock beyond what your sales, supplier lead times and order quantities justify, plus anything that hasn't sold in 12 months, valued at cost.
  • The 14 days start when your four exports arrive. I agree the method with you in writing before I start.
  • On day 14 you see the number. If it's A$100,000 or more, you pay, and I hand over the full plan and the corrected settings. If not, you pay nothing.
  • I only start when your numbers say I'll clear it, and I just need your team on both calls.

Nothing upfront. On day 14 you see the number, and you pay A$5,500 only if it's A$100,000 or more. The credit applies if you start the Planning Desk within 30 days of the handover.

I analyse and recommend. You approve, and your team places the orders. Read-only throughout. I never write to Business Central, never place orders, and never buy, hold or sell your stock. If the Sprint shows you don't need ongoing planning, that's a fair outcome.

I work in Business Central every day.

I manage inventory for a business on Business Central, across more than 15,000 items.

Before that I built and ran my own retail business for nine years, to A$2.4m in revenue, so I know what it's like when the money on the line is your own. I'm taking on my first clients, and I check every weekly list myself, so places are limited.

What happens if I'm unavailable? Your planning settings live in your own Business Central, so they keep working if a week is missed. The service is a defined weekly process, not one person improvising.
